Well kids,
The past few months have opened up a lot of doors, created a lot of new experiences, and allowed us to meet some amazing, beautiful new people, and see some awesome places. Here is a recap of what's been going on, and what's to come from Camp Peachcake:
It all started with the release of our new CD- "Now we have something to Celebrate" which came out Sept. 12th on Western Tread Recordings. It's a Split CD with our pals, Less Pain Forever, and we allow you to purchase a copy of it by CLICKING HERE TO DO SO! Anyway, where was I...oh yes, a tour to support our new CD "Now we have something to celebrate," with our co-horts, Less Pain Forever that took us all the way across this vast land where it ended with an Industry BANG! in Boston at the NEMO Music Festival, where we slaughtered several "suites" and "Reps" with an artillery of Silly-String, confetti, and inflatables! Here we had a blast doing, TX, NM, UT, NE, OH, NY, among other great states with this dynamic-duo, and brought the realism that is Peachcake Vs. Less Pain Forever to many states across! Thank you to those who showed up...sometimes it was many of you, others it wasn't, but we had a blast either way.
Next! We teamed up with our close pal from many a galaxies away from us, barely.audible, as we embarked on probably the most insane adventure that Peachcake has ever had the privilege in being a part of...that's right, I'm talking about the Gargatuas, HELLOGOODBYE TOUR!!! In this embarkment, we experienced doing some west coast (California-style), Southwest- NV, AZ, TX, all the way through to the midwestern region where we rocked OK, MO, and IL like nobody's business. This was an incredible experience that I don't think any of us will be able to forget, even if something like mind-control manages to take hold of one of us. This was a major larning experience, and I think we really had the ability to spend some quality time with our live show, and ideology, and were able to set it up to becoming a little more familiar and in-tune with what we want to do and hope to accomplish with it. We appreciate all the amazing response, and support, and we thank you for coming to the shows, and for anything, every thing, and all you've done for us. Now as a follow-up, we'll be hitting the road at the end of this month (Nov.) w/ Spitalfield, Valencia, Boys Like Girls, and Punchline. We hope to see some familiar faces.
All the while, we signed a record deal with a radacious Independent Record co. called, SideCho Records (Tokyo Rose, Sherwood, MC Lars, Neva Dinova, The Pale Pacific, The Spores, 1090 Club, etc.) We're extremely excited to have them on-board Team Peachcake, and welcome them firmly and whole-heartedly, as they have been already making some awesome things happen for us! Thank you to them, and we'd like you all to give them a warm welcome, so Check Them Out! When you have time of course...
Amidst all this craziness some other cool side-opportunities presented themselves, both of which are very oriented to your participation and for your enjoyment! Oh, but WHAT COULD THEY BEEEE! Stop keeping me in suspense! Ok, ok, ok, here it goes...
Firstly, a new emerging television show series birthed from the womb of the NBC Network entitled "It's Your Show" hosted by the late, great Carson Daily has decided to use our song, "Did I just do that, or was it Jim Carrey?" for one of their many challenges in the show. The specific challenge is "The Music Video Challenge- Challenge 14." In this challenge, anyone in the world (and probably out of the world) is allowed to create and enter a music video they've made (on their own terms, of their own interest, and completely free of confinement for their own content development) to potentially become winners of the challenge, and get a 1,000$ cash prize, which is way more than we're making for being a part of the show...;) SOOOOO, THE DEADLINE IS NOV. 9th, and you can enter ANYTIME before then! With the dealine approaching, we urge you to create quickly, or finish what you may have started and get it in before it's too late! We hope someone is the lucky winner, and we also plan to feature the top 3 video's on the Myspace/Web site when we've viewed them all and the winner has been picked by the show. Be Creative, clever, loving, and awesome! Remeber: Create the way you want to create, not the way anyone else wants you to. SO...BE CREATIVE! HEY! :) CLICK HERE, RIGHT HERE, TO ENTER YOUR VIDEO ON "Its Your show!" YO!
Lastly, a new contest is running through Absolutepunk.net where you can win a whole bunch of FREE Peachcake Schwag, and free tickets to a show on the upcoming Spitalfield tour! WOOOHOOOO!
All you gotta do is visit WWW.ABSOLUTEPUNK.NET, become a member of Absolutepunk.net, and you can ENTER the contest!
Now...we're off to embark on another tour, THIS TIME w/ Spitalfield, Valencia, Punchline, and Boys Like Girls. Here are all the dates and information! We hope to see you there, and we hope you know how awesome, sexy, powerful, and GREAT you all are for what you've given us and done for us, and what you give yourselves, are given, and do for yourselves every day...what is it? LIFE!

| So it's been a while... |
[23 Feb 2006|07:38pm] |
Sorry poor journal and journalers! Here is an updated posted from Peachcakemusic.com! Enjoy!!!
We hope you're all lovey-dovey!
Anyway, onto the news, and out the gates we goooooo...
Basically, John and I have been in LA for almost 2 weeks straight working on the single for the upcoming album. (If you\'ve not been paying attention, we\'re hoping to have a new album out by the summer called, \"What year will you have the world?..\") In anycase, it\'s going well. Kind of slow, but well. Slow because we\'re both crazy perfectionist\'s and wanna make it just RIGHT! For all you youngin\'s ears to enjoy properly. But who knows if you\'d know the different anyway, right?! HAHA! I don\'t know. Sometimes I don\'t either.
LA is an interesting place to say the least, but, while we were in LA we found out some cool info.:
1. Our SXSW venue info. came in!!! YAYE!! We will be playing, **MARCH 15th (Wednesday), @: RED 7 RED 7 VENUE Info. and the time WE PLAY is 8PM! YAY!!! Haha. :)**
We also have added another SXSW showcase: Thursday, March 16th @: Austin Daze (1300 E. 4th St.), The Subtractive Super Social Party W/ Test Shot Starfish, Viva K!, L.A.X., and more. 4PM.
2. We will have a radtastic new sampler available featuring the single, \"Souls have no drum machine\" from the upcoming full-length album, as well as a new EP called, \"We should\'ve NEVER released this!\" Which is a compilation of sorts featuring material dated long ago in the Peachcake history and archives. It\'ll have 8-9 tracks, and feature all the \"Chain Letter EP\" tracks which was our self-released EP long ago, a bunch of never before heard/released songs from way too long ago, and then maybe some newer demo\'s of \"newer\" but still kind of old songs. It\'s pretty exciting. More info. on all that soon yo!!! :)
3. For all you extreme sport\'s fans: Our music will be featured in some promo. video\'s that Big Bear Mountain in California is doing. So if you go online (I think) you may be able to check it out sometime in the near future. Also, some of our music will be featured in an upcoming professional Ski video called, [PHOTO]PLAY. It\'s freestyle skiing and crazy stuff, so good times! Check it out further at: Theory 3 Media. :)
4. We\'ve been accepted as finalist\'s in the \"Virgin College Megastore Tour\" contest. It\'s kind of weird that you\'d have to compete to be on a tour, but we entered as a joke, and like all things that come our way...TA DA! Well, not all things, but some, you know. Remember, Fanta? ! Hahahahahaha! More info. on that soon. I guess what\'s kind of cool about it is if you\'re looking to buy CD\'s from Virgin Megastore, we can give you this 10% coupon deal, and the more you buy with our 10% off Egenerated coupon the more our chances of rocking this tour increase. Makes sense, right? Haha. :)
TYRADE:Hmmmmm...also, not to get on some socio-political, oh crap society gets me down tyrade here, but I like love and maintaining happiness and feeling good and making other\'s feel good as much as possible. However, it\'s come to my attention that certain entities don\'t care to see that for other\'s. With Valentine\'s Day passing and all that crazy consumerism involvement in the air (ya know, so you can impress your significant other\'s), and then Fuse Music launching this \"Fuck Love\" campaign in correlation to the V-Day interest and it just is kinda whack. I mean, I like Fuse music, they\'re cool, I\'ve had no beef with them, and I still don\'t really, but the point is, I know they\'re maybe trying to propagate ths campaign to make the lost, lonely, and single feel better, but do we really need to find more ways of bringing humanity down? Insulting something so beautiful, (love) shared between two people or organisms is essentially the definitive end to all if you ask me. For if we can\'t have that at least, or something beautiful to create happiness and trust in our lives, then what can we have? Not to sound pessimistic, but I think if we can\'t love love, and love seeing it happen, (of course alongside understanding, acceptance, and care), then what can we hope will come of humanity at a time when people my age and younger are dying every day?!
WOOOOO!!! Crazy eh? Ok, that\'s all I gotta say. Also, Come check out these shows:
Feb. 24th- Borders Books (7th St. and Mill Ave. in Tempe) Special intimate show...everybody get set!
March 10th- @: The Brickhouse (1 E. Jackson, Phoenix) W/ Polysics! March 11th- @: Club Congress (311 East Congress Street, Tucson, AZ) W/ Polysics.

| NEWZZZZ! |
[22 Nov 2005|04:12am] |
Well everyone,
We're urging you all to boycott and write E-mails or make phone calls to: in2net.com for they have stolen our domain name, "www.peachcakemusic.com" from us under sly circumstances. Annoy the shit out of those fuckers so we can get it back, because it was completely rude of them to do something like that. I know why it was done, don't get me wrong, but, we want it BACK! So, if you find a moment, we kindly ask that you write in an E-mail or make a call stating: GIVE PEACHCAKE THEIR DOMAIN NAME BACK!!!! Haha. Make sure you specify that it's www.peachcakemusic.com so they know, and do be respectful. If you did this, that'd be awesome.
Also, We're doing a full album, or full-length, we've decided. YES! That's RIGHT...14 trackzzzz of Peachcake monstrosity and explosiveness!!!!!!!!! We're in the process of writing the songs that aren't finished, and it's going well. We're pretty sure it's gonna be a 10 on the richter scale... ;)! We'll keep you posted on it's progress as we begin recording on the 2nd of Dec. and are very please to make this announcement. Expect it to be out nationwide. :)
Thanks again and we hope to see you at one of these upcoming shows:

Well everyone,
We would just like to say thanks to all those who have been coming out to the shows, especially as of recent! Edgefest was a total blast, and we were so pleased and overwhelmed with the turnout for our set and the response. It was amazing.
Also, thanks to those who came out for the Mink Rebellion CD release, as that was absolutely fantastic as well!!! :) You kids knew how to get down, might I add!
On that note, we have a couple more shows until the end of the year comes, and we finish up our CD to be release in Feb., entitled, "What year will you have the world?" It's an EP, and we will be announcing tour dates for it soon, that'll kick-off in Feb.
Hope all is well, and check us out at one of these upcoming amazing events!!!!
Tues. Oct. 18th @: The Clubhouse (1320 E. Broadway, Tempe) W/ The Go! Team (from the UK) and The Grates. 8PM, all ages, $13. Advance tickets at Hoodlums/Stinkweeds. Visit: www.statesidepresents.com for more info. ---This show is highly recommended. The Go! Team are an absolutely amazing band, and very upbeat and fun. If you like our live show and music, I think you'll totally dig this band as well. Great fit.
Then after that:

We will be opening The Grand Cayenne Music Festival!!!! It's a festival celebrating our friend Charlie Levy's 10 year anniversary with his promotion company, Stateside Presents! Congrats. to him on the ten years of Stateside Presents.
WE PLAY AT 2PM THERE, SO BE SURE AND GET THERE EARLY! :) :) :)
Also, just to address something...some people have been asking about whether or not our music was really played on MTV's "The Reality Show" the other night about a week ago or so. Yes, that music was really ours, and it was "Stop acting like you know more about the Internet Cafe than me." :) We would just like to thank Pitch A Fit Music for taking an interest and liking to our music.
Hope all is well with you kiddies, and can't wait to see you at a show!!! :)

| Lot's O' NEWS!!!! (GOOD STUFF HAPPENING!) |
[12 Sep 2005|01:23am] |
Part 1:
Brace yourself kiddies...it's gonna be a long one...
Sorry I haven't updated in forever. We've been busy working on the new record, playing local shows, going on tour and playing out of state a lot, so in light of all that, this is what's been up at the PEACHCAKE HQ:
Posted (mostly) from www.peachcakemusic.com:
FIRST AND FOREMOST:
We are playing: EDGEFEST 05!!!!! -THANKS TO ALL OF YOU AWESOME PEOPLE WHO WROTE IN...We...ARE PLAYING EDGEFEST 2005!!!! I don't know if it'd have happened otherwise, but maybe! Thank YOU so much, and we hope to see you there. -You know what this (possibly) means...TWISTER!!!! Maybe even, Twister Dance Moves! -We also have a special stage surprise in store for all of you... -Just incase you were wondering...This year's line-up includes: --------Interpol, Social Distortion, Pennywise, Pepper, Greeley Estates, The Colour, Rise Against, Zebrahead, Fenix TX, Authority Zero, Redfield, Before Braille, ---------The Cover-Up, Fivespeed, Alien Ant Farm, The Start, Hawthorne Heights, Louis the XIV, and moreee!!! -I'll update you on our stage and set time when we get them. -It's at the Peoria Sports Complex (83rd Ave. and Peoria in Peoria, AZ)! YEAH!!!!
--As result of this, and much request for music, we will be duplicating and selling special limited edition (oooooohhhh FANCY!!!!) samplers in order to promote our upcoming EP "What year will you have the World?" Due out early 2006. The sampler is called, "The Back to School Mix-Tapes," (appropriately titled given the time and content of the music we think), and that makes us and many of you happy. This probably brings you to the question...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2:
-So, what's "The Back-To-School-Mix-Tapes," eh?
Well kids,
-As of 9/17/05, Peachcake will be promoting a new CD you can purchase entitled, "The Back to School Mix-Tapes." The CD will only be available at shows and on tour. There will be no pre-orders, online orders, or ordering of any kind as this is a special limited edition pressing of 500 copies. If the demand is there...who says we won't fill it however... -Basically, it's a sampler featuring a collection of a handful of our favs. at this point. Some will be special variants exclusive to this little number promoting the upcoming EP release this early 2006 (tracks 1 and 2), another an old fav. from our "Chain Letter EP," days and then 2 remixes, one crazy one of one of our fav. songs, and another of our song that you could say, "launched us," "Hundreds and hundreds of thousands," that will both only be available via this sampler for now. It'll feature 5 tracks total: -1. Are we accidentally at a party?! (Special 2005 demo) --2. Stop acting like you know more about the Internet Cafe than me (Special 2005 demo) ---3. Beware of switching Movie Theatres (2004 Chain Letter EP demo) ----4. Souls have no drum machine (Crazed-futurist remix 2005) -----5. Hundreds and hundreds of thousands (Special Lucid Skies Remix 2005) -Why are we doing this? Well, we realized it's gonna be a little while before our actual EP "drops shelves" and since we have many awesome events coming up,a nd have had tons of request's for a CD, we figured we'd give something back to you cool kids to have that's special and will one day be rare. -Anyway, expect that to be available on 9/17 and get your copy of Peachcake's "The Back to School Mix Tapes" while you can! WOOT! I'm quite the salesman, eh?
******ALSO: Be sure to visit our Purevolume/Myspace accounts to give a listen to the new song rough demo tentatively called, "Biz Markie is happy he's Biz Markie," at the moment.*******
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3:

| YEAH! FANTA FINALIST'S FINALLY! |
[02 Aug 2005|09:24pm] |
Fuck yeah.
Hilariously enough, it turns out we made it past the genre finalist's round, and into the overall final round. Now we have to do battle with some ex-American Idol Chic, hahahahaha!!!! That's pretty amusing stuff if you ask me.
Anyway, if you could/would like to cast your vote for us, it'd be truly appreciated, and we thank you from the deepest of our heartzzzz! ;)
You can do so by visiting this link: http://www.myspace.com/thefantanas as it will show you the way, to eternal Peachcake appreciation!!!
Don't forget, only vote for us if you choose, as it's not a genre thing anymore, and we'll once again be in the "Dance" genre. rock forth!
Thanks a lot, and we hope you're all doing well.

| JAY LENO BLIP! |
[27 Jul 2005|01:34pm] |
Sometime within this next week, between the date of July 27th (Wed.), and the end of next week (maybe the end of the week, maybe sooner) we will have a blip on the Jay Leno show in the "Jay-Walking" segment. It will show Stefan and Jeremiah dancing their bootay's off in the "Good Dancer? Bad Dancer?" themed segment, and part of Peachcake's song, "Stop acting like you know more about the Internet Cafe than me," will also be used as the music background to their portion in the segment, which is pretty funny. Not to mention, (if it's not edited this way), you'll get to see Jay Leno say"Peachcake!" himself, haha. That makes it even more interesting, don't you think?
We're giving away stuff to the first 3-5 people to tape it and show us the copies. If you tape it, please let us know! Myspace us, www.myspace.com/peachcake. Thank you so much, we hope you're all well.
